Work Experience

Work Experience provides the opportunity for our students to practice and perfect the skills they learn on real clients in a real salon environment.

If you are studying on the college campus your work experience will start within our Ella Baché Student Salon. Here you work in teams under the instruction of our highly experienced educators. Our student salon allows you to work and learn in a safe, nurturing environment.

We have integrated work experience throughout your studies ensuring that all our students gain valuable real client experience including client bookings, Skin Diagnosis, retailing, in- store promotions, salon team work and even some salon management skills.

For both our college students and our distance education students we also work closely with many Beauty Therapy employers to provide work experience, and we are happy to assist you in being placed in in a salon near where you live or work.

The Ella Baché College of Skin and Beauty Therapy is the only college with access to a network of 200 Ella Baché salons and 35 David Jones stores that provide work experience and employment for our students.
