Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy

We offer the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy as both full-time & part-time courses starting in February and July each year.

As a Certificate IV qualified Beauty Therapist you will have a broad range of career options in the industry from working in Beauty Salons, Day Spas, Health Retreats, Hotels & Resorts, on International cruise liners, in Sales, Marketing & Training roles, and many graduates go on to manage and own their own salons!  These are just a few of the many career opportunities open to you.

Course Details

Full Time Study – 12 months

• Offered over four terms (44 weeks)
• Each term is 10 - 11 weeks in duration with a one week break in-between each term
• College days start at 9am and finish at 5pm
• Full-time course is 2-3 days per week
• During term four you are also required to do one day a week work experience in addition to normal college days

Part Time Study – 18 months

• Offered over six terms (66 weeks)
• Each term is 10 - 11 weeks in duration with a one week break in-between each Term (Christmas is five weeks)
• Part-time courses are two nights & one Saturday a week
• During term six you are also required to do one day a week work experience in addition to normal college days
• College nights start at 6pm and finish at 9pm, three Saturday’s each month, from 9am – 3pm

COURSE INCLUSIONS

• Ella Baché College uniform is issued to all students
• Student manuals are supplied to students for all units of study

COURSE EXTRAS

• Make-up brush sets, manicure & tinting kits can be purchased through the college or students can purchase directly from the supplier at wholesale prices

Getting Started in Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy

The Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy has a total of 25 units. There are 21 core and four elective units. We have put together an exciting selection of electives to compliment your core units.

Enrolment requires a non-refundable deposit to secure your place, and then the balance to be paid in full prior to course commencement or in four equal payments made one week prior to each term commencing.

Certification

A statement of attainment from WRB40105 Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy will be issued for all units of competency that are successfully completed if the full qualification is not completed.
