Certificate III in Beauty Services
Since 1963 the Ella Baché College of Skin and Beauty Therapy has enjoyed an unrivaled reputation in educational excellence and postgraduate employment for our Beauty Therapists. We are the only Beauty Therapy college in Australia with a network of over 200 salons and 35 Ella Baché counters in David Jones stores that can provide work experience and job placement!
We offer the Certificate III in Beauty Services as a part-time course starting in February and July each year.
CAREER PATHWAYS
As a Certificate III qualified Beauty Therapist you can gain employment within a beauty salon performing the various practical skills you have developed as well as allowing you to perform general reception area duties, retailing skincare and makeup products, merchandising, meeting and greeting clients and managing client bookings. This qualification will also enable you to work within a department store or pharmacy as a cosmetic consultant or assistant.
Course Details
Part Time Study – 16 weeks
- This course is offered over two terms (16 weeks)
- Each term is 10 -11 weeks in duration with a one week break in-between
- Course is two days a week for 16 weeks
- College days start at 9am and finish at 5pm

- Make-up brush sets, manicure & tinting kits can be purchased through the college or students can purchase directly from the supplier at wholesale prices
Getting Started in Certificate III in Beauty Services
The Certificate III in Beauty Services has a total of 21 units. There are 15 core and six elective units that must be completed. We have put together an exciting selection of electives to compliment your core units.
Certificate III fees are payable in advance in one up front payment before course commencement.

Certification
A statement of attainment from WRB30104 Certificate III in Beauty Services will be issued for all units of competency that are completed if the full qualification is not completed.
