- Search for advertised apprenticeships with websites, such as the Australian Job Search website www.jobsearch.gov.au or employment websites such as www.seek.com.au and www.mycareer.com.au
- Search your local newspapers for salons advertising for staff
- Contact your local Centrelink office - many jobs and apprenticeships are advertised here
Once you Find an Employer
Once you find an employer willing to take you on as an apprentice, it is up to the employer to contact their local Australian Apprenticeships Centre, such as Australian Business Limited Apprenticeship Centre (ABL) on
1300 652 236. Apprenticeship Centres provide a one-stop-shop for employers seeking to take up an apprentice. They will help you and the employer with all the paperwork.
