Beauty Therapy Apprenticeships

We are excited to announce that apprentices can now complete their studies and earn their Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy qualification with the Ella Baché College of Skin and Beauty Therapy.

The Ella Baché College is a NSW “Apprenticeship Approved Provider” for salons located in Sydney, Illawarra & Newcastle areas.

An apprenticeship combines ‘on the job’ training with a beauty salon, your employer, with the formal education and qualification being undertaken with an “Apprenticeship Approved Provider”.

Beauty Therapy Apprenticeships take three years to complete, with your first two years requiring formal education with an apprenticeship approved college.

How does the Ella Baché College of Skin and Beauty Therapy deliver our Apprenticeship Training?

The Ella Baché College provides apprentices “block training” in our classroom environment. This is designed to provide you with as much flexibility as possible in your education studies and ‘on the job’ training.  

We use a combination of ‘home based theory learning’, also known as correspondence or distance education, with homework & assignments that you send into the college. You are required to attend a series of four day practical training blocks held at our North Sydney campus. You must attend five of these throughout your apprenticeship. This is instead of having to attend your training on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

Additionally, we also hold several workshops that you are invited to attend. These include Ella Baché Product  & Treatment Training workshops, Industry guest speakers, Complimentary Therapy workshops, including Laser, Hot Stone Therapy and Reflexology to name a few.

Finding an Apprenticeship

The Ella Baché College of Skin and Beauty Therapy is the “Apprenticeship Approved Provider” that provides your training and qualification. We do not employ apprentices or help you find an apprenticeship. This is the responsibility of the apprentice.

Existing Apprentices

If you already have an existing apprentice they can transfer at anytime from your current Apprenticeship Approved Provider, such as TAFE, to the Ella Baché College at no cost or penalty to you or the salon.
