How does distance study work?

You can begin studying at any time convenient to your work, your family or your other commitments:

  1. Because of our links to the Ella Baché network of salons all over Australia, we can support your work experience programme with a business which is hungry to employ you!
  2. Students will attend 4 practical intensives in a nominated location to complete their Cert IV course.
    These intensives will occur when there are enough students ready to complete them – ie when they’ve finished their theory subjects to the point that they are ready for their practical and assessment intensives.
  3. A student can finish within a year, but also take up to two years, which depends on the student’s own pace, and on the practical intensives available during the year.
  4. A student must always complete the theory modules in order. They will need to complete the practical intensives in order too. There may be exceptions to this rule, but that is at the discretion of the student and the educator.
