Our Certificate III course is a great entry point into the world of skin care and beauty therapy and will give you a great foundation in the skills you’ll need to help get you working in salons as soon as possible. To achieve a Certificate III in Beauty Services a total of 15 core and 6 elective units of competency must be completed. You will be taught practical skills in manicure and pedicare, makeup application, temporary Epilation (waxing) and bleaching, lash and brow tinting, and eye and brow shaping. The theory areas include skin biology, nail sciences, retailing and merchandising skills as well as communication skills. We’ve structured our Certificate III course so it’s as easy as possible for you to upgrade to our Diploma Course.

CAREER PATHWAYS
Your Certificate III in Beauty Services will allow you to gain employment within a beauty salon performing the various practical skills you have developed as well allowing you to perform general reception area duties, retailing skin care and makeup products, merchandising, meeting and greeting clients and handling client bookings. This qualification also will enable you to work within a department store or pharmacy as a cosmetic consultant or assistant.
GETTING STARTED WITH OUR COLLEGE IN THIS QUALIFICATION
As all of the core units and electives have been selected in this program for you, you need only to enroll and commence your studies. Certificate III fees are payable in advance in one up front payment before course commencement
COURSE DETAILS
• This course is offered over 2 full days per week for 16 weeks
• College days commence at 9am and conclude at 5pm each day
• This course is offered on Thursday and Friday of each week
• There will be a term break at week 10 for 1 week
• Students then return to complete the remainder of the course (6 weeks) in the following next term

CERTIFICATION
• A statement of attainment from WRB30104 Certificate III in Beauty Services will be issued for all units of competency that are completed if the full qualification is not completed
